Tindyebwa Agaba Wise is the adopted son of two times Oscar Winning actress Emma Thompson and Greg Wise. He was a former child militia in Rwanda who was adopted by Emma Thompson.
Tindyebwa was born to a tea farmer in Rwanda in the late 80's. He was the only boy among four children. At the age of 9 his father was diagnosed with AIDS which led to his death.
His mother was a savvy woman who got an organization to take her children, but due to lack of funding the children returned to Rwanda. At the age of 12 he and his 3 sisters were kidnapped and taken from their village. That was the last time he saw his sisters.
At the militia headquarters he was made to use weapons and fight against government forces. He was turned into a child militia, trained to fight, trained to fire atomatic weapons.
He escaped from the militia headquarters after 3 years and was arrested by government forces. He managed to slip away from the detention facility following a brawl with the prison guard.
He made his way to Uganda after which a worker at the Care International organization put him in a plane to Heathrow.
Even after Tindyebwa arrived at London it wasn't easy going. He was spotted by the refugee council and that is when he cam to meet with Emma Thompson.
Emma wanted him to come join her in her house for the Christmas dinner but Tindyewba, who wasn't aware of Emma's celebrity status was reluctant to go. Thompson who never gave up, finally earned the trust to Tindyebwa.
Thompson was having problems conceiving a child from her marriage to her husband, so they both decided to adopt Tindyebwa.
After his adoption, Tindyebwa was Enrolled in The University of Exeter from where he graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations.
He enrolled in SOAS University of London from where he completed his master's degree in Human Rights Law after which he completed a fellowship in Human Rights.
Tindyebwa started his career working for various charitable organizations. He started his own charitable organization Muryango which is dedicated in helping refugees.
Tindyebwa hasn't seen his biological mother since he was 10 years old. He said in an interview that it was his dream to one day meet her again.
All of his biological sisters are lost and he has one adopted sister, Gaia Romilly Wise.
In his adopted family side, he has grandparents Eric Thompson and Phylida Law. His greeat grandparents is George Henry Thompson.
He said in an interview that he wants to help refugees, as his life mission.
Tindyebwa is focused solely on his work so there is no fiance to speak of. He is working towards betterment of refugee life in England so there are no wedding bells ringing at this time. He is happily living a single life, doing the work that is loves and is passionate about.
Tindyebwa is a working man, working predominantly in charitable sectors. He is worth somewhere in the range of $100-300 thousand. His mother on the other hand is worth $8 million.
She is a renowned actress and business woman so she is worth significantly more than her son and husband.
Greg Wise, also an actor, and Tindyebwa's father is worth $1.3 million on his own.
