Tate McRae was born Tate Rosner McRae on July 1, 2003, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada under the birth sign Cancer. She is of Canadian nationality while her ethnicity is missing.

She is the daughter of Todd Rosner(lawyer) and Tanja Rosner(dancer instructor). She has an older brother named Tucker McRae.

Regarding education, she completed her schooling at Alberta Ballet School.

Career as Dancer and Singer

Tate McRae develops her interest in dancing since her childhood days as her mother is also a professional dancer. As an infant, she spent the first two years of her life seeing dancers at her mother’s dance studio.  

She started taking formal training in dance at the age of six. As of now, she studies jazz, ballet, contemporary, and even ballroom dancing at the School of Alberta Ballet.

At the age of 13, she took part in So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation and came third in the competition.

Also, she is a singer who received a breakthrough from her single, You Broke Me First. AS a singer she has signed to RCA Records in 2019. With the label, she released her debut EP All the Things I Never said with them.
