Rick Yune

Best known for playing Johnny Tran in the 2001 movie The Fast and the Furious, Rick Yune is an American actor, screenwriter, martial artist, and former model. 

He is also popular for his role in films like Snow Falling on Cedars, Fast and Furious, Die Another Day, and Alita: Battle Angel.

Born Richard Yun on 2nd August 1971 in Washington, D.C. United States of America to Wonhui Park and Tom Taeho Yun. He holds American nationality and has Asian ancestry. 

Yune grew up alongside his younger brother Karl Yune who is also an actor. Likewise, he went to Our Lady of Good Counsel High School and St. John's College High School. 

Moreover, Rick earned his degree in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1994.

He then played Johnny Tran in the 2001 action film The Fast and the Furious alongside late actor Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster. 

Likewise, in 2002, he played Zao in Die Another Day, the twentieth film in the James Bond series. The movie stars Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, and Toby Stephens. 

In 2006, he voiced in the video game Scarface: The World Is Yours which was based on the 1983 motion pictures Scarface. 

In 2012, he appeared as Zen Yi alongside Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu in American martial arts film The Man with the Iron Fists. 

In 2014, he was cast as a Mongol Khan Kaidu in the historical drama series Marco Polo along with Lorenzo Richlemy, Benedict Wong, Joan Chen, and Amr Waked. Likewise, he reprised his role in the second season which was released in 2016. 

As of 2020, he played Captain Sand in sci-fi martial arts film Jiu Jitsu alongside Alain Moussi, Frank Grillo, and JuJu Chan.
