Muse Watson was born on 20th July 1948 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the United States of America. He is an American as per his nationality and has White ethnicity. 

As of 2021, Watson is 73 years old. He went to Louisiana Tech for two years before transferring to Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. 

While attending Berea College, he performed on stage for the first time as Petruchio in a production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.

Muse began working in outdoor dramas, small repertory groups, and dinner theaters during and after his years at Berea. 

His initial theater credits include Hamlet, A Streetcar Named Desire, Burn This, Man of La Mancha, and also directed a production of Ain't Misbehavin'. 

Watson began his film career in 1989 playing a police officer in the thriller film Black Rainbow. 

He then went and starred in The Handmaid's Tale, Sommersby, Something to Talk About, The Journey of August King, I Know What You Did Last Summer, From Dusk Till Dawn 2, and Songcatcher.

In 2005, Watson joined the cast of serial drama Prison Break as Charles Westmoreland alongside Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Robin Tunney, Amaury Nolasco, and William Fichtner. He appeared in the show until 2009 for 19 episodes.

Likewise, in 2006, he was cast as Mike Franks in action police procedural series NCIS along with Mark Harmon, Sasha Alexander, Sean Murray, and Brian Dietzen.
