Michelle Buteau is an American actress, stand-up comedian, writer, and podcast host. She is known for her work in First Wives Club, Russian Doll, Bless the Harts, and The Circle.

Buteau has been married to Dutch photographer Gijs van der Most since July 31, 2010. 

"Happy 9th Anniversary to the love of my life...one day I’ll figure out how to say your name properly, but for now, you’re meh boo," she wrote in her Instagram post in 2019. 

Michelle struggled with infertility and underwent multiple rounds of IVF before welcoming twins; daughter, Hazel van der Most and son Otis van der Most, via surrogacy on January 20, 2019.

Buteau and her husband, Gijs, 42, now live in Bushwick, Brooklyn with their twins, where they own a furniture store called Van Der Most Modern.
