Kenneth Choi

Best known for playing Henry Lin on the television series Sons of Anarchy, Kenneth Choi is an American actor. Since his debut in 1998, he has appeared in dozens of films and TV shows including The Wolf of Wall Street, Captain American: The First Avenger, The Last Man on Earth, and many more. 

Born To Korean Parents

Kenneth Choi was born on 20th October 1971 in Chicago, Illinois, the United States of America to Korean immigrants parents. He is an American as per his nationality and has Asian ancestry. 

He grew up alongside his two siblings in Glenwood, Illinois. He went to Longwood Elementary and later enrolled at Brookwood School District 167. 

Likewise, he attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School where he was a gymnast. As per his parents wish, he majored in accounting at Purdue University, however, dropped out of there to pursue a career in acting.

Kenneth began his acting career from the Disney Channel television movie Halloweentown alongside Debbie Reynolds. He then starred in films like Deep Core, Beyond the Pale, Timecop 2: The Berlin Decision, and more. 

Likewise, some of his early television show credits are Martial Law, The Huntress, Arliss, Kristin, Dead Last, Reba, Presidio Med, Becker, and several more. 

Choi made his career breakthrough as Henry Lin in action crime drama series Sons of Anarchy. He starred in the show from 2008 to 2014 alongside Charlie Hunnam, Kim Coates, Katey Sagal, and Tommy Flanagan. 

In 2009, he was cast as Agent Philip Shen in episode Once Lost in CBS police procedural drama series Without a Trace starring Anthony LaPaglia, Poppy Montgomery, and Enrique Murciano. 

Similarly, in 2015, Kenneth joined the cast of American spy drama television series Allegiance as Sam Luttrell. In the show, he appeared alongside Hope Davis, Scott Cohen, and Gavin Stenhouse. 

Since 2018, Choi plays LAFD firefighter Howie "Chimney" Han in procedural TV series 9-1-1 alongside Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, and Aisha Hinds. 

His other recent film and TV shows credits are Gringo, Hotel Artemis, Office Uprising, Counterpart, and Snowfall.
