Her parents would use sign language to communicate with her during the first years of her life. Gage attended the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, a private all-girls Catholic high school located in La Cañada Flintridge, California.

Golightly also guest-starred in The CW's iZombie and recently appeared as Grace Durkin in the Paramount series 68 Whiskey.
