Tuft went to the Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, California. Later, she transferred to the California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo in 2000. She finished her coursework and received a degree in civil engineering major in hydrology and structural engineering.
After completing her education, Tuft grasped a work as an assistant engineer at PBS&J in Encinitas, California.
In 2011, together with Curt Hawkins, she created an animated YouTube series named MidCard Mafia. But it was dropped and pulled from the internet after objections from WWE management.
