Ewan McGregor is a Scottish actor who is very famous for appearing in the mini-series Lipstick on Your Collar as Pvt. Hopper. Also, he is known for his work in the movie such as Moulin Rouge!, Star Wars prequel trilogy, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Ewan McGregor was born on March 31, 1971, in Perth, Scotland, and raised in Crieff, Scotland. He is of British and Scottish nationality while his ethnicity is missing.

He is the son of James Charles Stewart(a retired physical education teacher) and Carol Diane(a retired teacher of Crieff High School). He has an older brother Colin McGregor who worked as a Tornado GR4 pilot in the Royal Air Force. 

Regarding education, he went to Morrison's Academy in Crieff and later on left when he was around 16 years old. At the age of 18, he joined the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Together they shared four kids: Clara Mathilde McGregor, Anouk McGregor, Esther Rose McGregor, and Jamyan McGregor. After more than two-decade of marriage they got separated in May 2017.
