Dixie Rachel Brubaker is the first wife of Dinesh D'Souza. Dinesh is an Indian-American far-right political commentator, provocateur, author, filmmaker, and conspiracy theorist who has written over a dozen books, several of which has gone on to be New York Times best-sellers.
Brubaker's age and date of birth has not been disclosed yet. Nonetheless, she is expected to be in her later 40s or early 50s as of now. Dixie is from San Diego, United States; however, she has not gone into details about her parents, siblings, and early life.
According to Vanity Fair, Brubaker was born in a conservative California family. On the other hand, her ex-husband, Dinesh Joseph D'Souza, is currently 59 years old. He was born on April 25, 1961, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
The 59-year-old grew up in a middle-class family. His parents were Roman Catholics from the state of Goa, where his father worked as an executive with Johnson & Johnson and his mother was a housewife. D'Souza graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College in 1983.
Brubaker and D'souza first met when both worked in Washington, D.C. At the time, Dinesh was a young policy aide and Dixie was an intern in the Reagan White House.
After dating for several months, the duo tied the knot in 1992. "He found the ultimate prize in Dixie Brubaker, a beautiful blonde whom he had met while working in the White House," wrote Vanity Fair, quoting D'souza saying "It was my mission to marry the all-American girl.”
D'souza and Brubaker welcomed their first child, a daughter named Danielle D'Souza-Gill, in 1995. She is now an author and blogger. Like her father, Danielle attended Dartmouth College, where she met her future husband, Brandon Gill, an investment banker.
Dixie and Dinesh lived together in California until 2010 before he moved to New York to serve as president of The King's College. However, D'Souza alleged that he became aware of his wife's extramarital affairs during this time and left for New York without her.
“I discovered, to my horror, irrefutable evidence that my wife was involved with someone else,” D’Souza told. While he mentioned that his wife had no interest in repairing their marriage, Dixie contradicted saying she "signed us up for a marriage-counseling retreat … and attended marriage-counseling sessions.”
In the summer of 2012, D’Souza began a secret relationship with a woman named Denise Odie Joseph II, who was married and 22 years his junior. D'souza and Brubaker eventually divorced after being married to each other for 20 years.
Brubaker's net worth has not been revealed yet. The lawsuit settlement details of her and D’Souza has not been disclosed. Meanwhile, D’Souza has a net worth of $4 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth. He reportedly earned a seven-figure salary as the president of the King’s College in Manhattan.
