David Alan Hornsby is an American actor, screenwriter, and producer who is best known for his recurring role as Matthew "Rickety Cricket" Mara on the FX comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

David and his wife Emily wed in a quiet evening ceremony held in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on September 25, 2010, before close friends and family.  

Together, they have two children: sons Henry Hornsby, born on September 21, 2011, and Calvin Hornsby, born on June 8, 2015. The couple currently resides in Los Angeles, California with their two sons.
