Daniel Peter Masterson is an American actor and disc jockey, best known for his role as Steven Hyde in Fox's sitcom That '70s Show. He has appeared in numerous other movies and television shows including Dracula 2000, The Brooklyn Heist, The Bridge to Nowhere, Kim Possible, and Haven. Recently, Masterson re-united with his That '70s Show co-star, Ashton Kutcher, for the Netflix's sitcom The Ranch.

Four women filed a lawsuit against Masterson in March 2017, alleging that he had sexually assaulted them during the early 2000s.  

Among the four women, two are his former girlfriends Chrissie Carnell Bixler and Marie Bobette Riales. In August 2019, four women sued Masterson and the Church of Scientology for stalking and harassment following the rape allegations.

In June 2020, the 44-year-old was charged with raping a 23-year-old woman in 2001, a 28-year-old woman in April of 2003, and a 23-year-old woman in late 2003. Masterson could face up to 45 years in prison if convicted.
