Casey Coates is an Environmental designer and activist who got national and international recognition as the second wife of an American actor and producer, Ten Danson.

The celebrity ex-spouse is an environmental designer by profession. She went to Great Neck High School and later joined Lasell College in Boston.

Moreover, Coates holds BFA in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design. Upon graduation, she joined the Ben Thomson firm at Cambridge, Massachusetts.
